Train well, Move well, Be well
After several injuries, I finally went to see a chiropractor and was impressed by his approach to treatment of musculoskeletal pain. With this experience in mind, I enrolled in chiropractic college and I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer West Chiropractic College in 1997. Since then, I’ve devoted my career to the recovery and prevention of back pain through a combination of manual therapies and rehabilitation.

I blend modern bio-science and rehabilitation with the best of various manual therapies. My private practice, Allaire Chiropractic and Rehabilitation, is located in San Mateo, California.
I teach people how to move better and feel better via training seminars and classes. The classes help participants discover musculoskeletal health and resilience. I also post health and fitness articles on
In 1999, I had the interesting experience of providing care for the cast of the Miss Saigon National Touring Company.
Prior to becoming a chiropractor, I trained numerous groups of exercise and personal training instructors through continuing education workshops. I maintained my own personal training business and worked for the West Coast Regional Director of the National Academy of Sports Medicine through Balanced Approach. I was also the fitness director, in charge of staff education and programming, for Warner Center Club in Los Angeles.
Matthew Campagna and I collaborate in the independent production of the the Allaire Back Fitness and Espaldas Sanas PBS television series and DVDs.
I trained as a professional dancer in jazz and ballet for over 20 years. I continue to dance, I walk/run in nature, I received my 3rd Dan in Yoshinkai Aikido.
I consistently, and without fail, practice my own Allaire Back Fitness workouts. Allaire Back Fitness training is my foundational training because it supports everything else that I do, helps me do it better...and I practice what I teach.
