After several injuries,
I finally went to see a chiropractor and was
impressed by his approach to treatment of
musculoskeletal pain. With this experience in mind,
I enrolled in chiropractic college and I received my
Doctor of Chiropractic degree from
Palmer West Chiropractic College in 1997.
Since then, I’ve devoted my career to the
recovery and prevention of back pain.
I blend modern bioscience and rehabilitation with
the best of various traditional healing therapies.
My private practice is located in San Mateo, California.

I teach a series of workshops in various
locations around the Bay Area.
These programs help participants
discover musculoskeletal health and resilience.
I also post health and fitness articles
on the Allaire Back Fitness facebook page.

In 1999, I had the interesting experience of
providing care for the cast of the
Miss Saigon National Touring Company.

Prior to becoming a chiropractor,
I trained numerous groups of
exercise and personal training instructors through
continuing education workshops.
I was a licensing examiner for the
Athletic and Fitness Association of America.
I maintained my own personal training business and
worked for the West Coast Regional Director of the National Academy of Sports Medicine through Balanced Approach. I was also the fitness director,
in charge of staff education and programming, for
Warner Center Club in Los Angeles.

Matthew Campagna and I collaborate in the production of the Allaire Back Fitness and Espaldas Sanas television shows and DVDs.

I trained as a professional dancer in jazz and ballet for over 20 years. I continue to dance and I also practice Yoshinkai Aikido and run. I consistently practice my own Allaire Back Fitness workout. I consider it my foundation workout because it supports my active lifestyle.
